I attended Hudson ISD from kindergarten to 12th grade. In 2013, I graduated from Hudson High School. Following graduation, I attended Stephen F. Austin State University, where I graduated in May of 2017 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies.
This is my second year of teaching! I consider it a privilege to teach in the school district where I grew up. I look forward to sharing my love for teaching and of learning with my students. We will be focusing on math, science, and social studies.
Family has always been important to me. I married my husband, Mark, on June 30, 2018. I am blessed with the best parents I could ever imagine, both of who are always supportive in every aspect of my life. I have an older sister, Meagan, who actually teaches kindergarten at Peavy Primary. My brother-in-law, Travis, is a firefighter for the city of Beaumont. In May of 2017, I became an aunt to Emberly, who is my very first niece. And I can’t forget my dog, Katie, who loves to snuggle and sleep. Each of these people play a big part in my life. I love every minute I get to spend with them.
When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family. We love to play dominoes and watch the Dallas Cowboys! If I have a day to myself, I could easily spend it by shopping at the mall or fishing at the lake. On the weekends, I enjoy watching new series on Netflix and taking long naps.
